Product Material Composition

HiSep Hollow Fiber type UF Module
The Mode of Filtration

Wastewater is pumped through the hollow fiber membrane, Water, dissolved solids
and low molecular weight materials pass through the membrane for discharge,
reuse of further treatment. Dissolved macromolecules, suspended solids, colloids
and other sub-micron materials is contained inside hollow fiber for recycling
or concentration.
Wastewater is pumped across the membrane surface at high flow rates, this parallel
flow eliminates the cake build-up on the filter surfaces of conventional filters
such as catridge and bag filters. Material passes unimpeded through the membrane,
therefore eliminating accumulation of material within the hollow fiber.
Structure of Hollow Fiber Type UF

HiSep hollow fiber membrane is composed of dense skin layers on the inner and
outer surfaces and micro porous support layer in the middle of the membrane.
Separation properites are controlled by the skin layers which are supported
by the micropore support layers under the surfaces.
Permeate flux speed become high by diminishing the resistance to permeate through
large voids located in the inner part of the membrane.
Hollow Fiber Membrane Module

HiSep has large effective membrane area per unit volume. So it shows high performance in permeability. The membrane area per unit volume. So it shows high performance in permeability. The membrane system can be made to be compact. Especially, back-flushing through permeate side is available in hollow fiber membrane module, which is good for residue recovery and maintenance of reliability.

Spiral Wound Module

A variation of the basic plate-and-frame concept is spiral wound module, which is widely used today in reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, and microfitration. The basign is illustrated above. The feed flow channel spacer, the membrane, and the porous membrane support are rolled up and inserted into an outer tubular pressure vessel. The filtrate is collected in a tube in the center of roll.
